GDF Suez Opens 18-MW Wind Farm in Brazil

Utility group GDF Suez has inaugurated an 18-megawatt (MW) wind farm in Brazil. The Pedra do Sal wind power plant in the State of Piaui, in the northeast of Brazil will ensure improved quality of electricity supply in the region, the company said.
